The NCS Colour Atlas

Lately, my pursuit of color design has led me to love the beauty of and utility of the NCS.

This color system’s fascinating arrangement leads the designer through descending levels of lightness an increasing levels of chromaticity to find the perfect colors for a project. The hues have a slightly different arrangement than Munsell, and the NCS offers gloriously bright color chips.

New color harmonies can be driven the the internal logic of the color chips. My recent work in color design as well as with color standards has been enriched by this phenomenal resource.
